During this past Thanksgiving weekend, there was a lot of news to come out. Fans of Kendrick Lamar were in for a treat. Over the weekend, Kendrick Lamar announced the latest single off good kid, m.A.A.d. city. Away from the controversy, which centers around Game and Shyne, the album is full of hits.
While he apparently took 2012 off, Drake is one of the biggest hitmakers of the 2010s and landing him on his debut album was big for Kendrick Lamar. Drake appeared on the “Poetic Justice” single. Given the track record Drake has, it comes as no surprise that the song is a fan favorite.
“Poetic Justice” will be the third single off good kid, m.A.A.d. city, which means the Scoop DeVille-produced track will soon be everywhere. Scoop DeVille recently spoke with DJ City about the track. During the interview, Scoop DeVille explained how the song came together.
