Benny The Butcher reveals “Long Live DJ Shay” tracklist
Benny The Butcher is coming through with another project this year, as his “Long Live DJ Shay” album is on the way. The title of this project is in honor of the late DJ Shay, who was a producer with Griselda Records, and went on to pass away, back in 2020.
Now, Benny has unveiled the full tracklist for this forthcoming Long Live DJ Shay album. This will contain 13 songs, along with appearances from other Griselda artists such as Westside Gunn, Armani Caesar, Conway The Machine, and more. Production is also handled by DJ Shay, DJ Premier, The Alchemist, and others.
“Times Is Rough,” which is produced by DJ Premier, will be released at midnight. The release date for the Long Live DJ Shay album hasn’t been publicly finalized yet. Benny previously revealed that he was in Paris last month, putting the finishing touches on this project.
Back in March, Benny also put out the fourth installment of his “Tana Talk 4” mixtape series. That project was led by his “Johnny P’s Caddy” single, featuring J. Cole.
