In a few weeks, the new season of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” will premiere on VH1, but there was bad news surrounding the cast. A star since the inception, Benzino has been going through a lot, recently losing his mother. This afternoon was the day of the funeral in Boston.
As if the loss of his mother was not enough to deal with, Benzino also had to contend with people after his own life. Once a person reaches a certain level of success or fame, they have to deal with the possibility of someone coming after him. For Benzino, he faced this reality today.
While arriving at his mother’s funeral, Benzino ended up being hit by a round of shots bullets. According to the New York Daily News, Benzino was shot in the arm while he was driving to his mother’s funeral. The shooter was arrested and charged with both attempted murder and armed assault, meanwhile it was said that a relative of Benzino was behind the shooting.
