Betty White was 99 years old and a titan in the television industry. Depending on which era, White could be known for various programs. Over the past fifteen years, she’s simply known for all of her commercials and TV guest appearances.

But, Betty White actually rose to fame, in the 1960s, playing on sitcoms back then. In hindsight, it’s actually hilarious, but in the 1980s, she was considered late in her career. She signed on to star in “The Golden Girls,” where she played among a group of women of a certain age, in a retirement home.

Her role as Blanche made Betty White into a household name, once again. Then, in the late 2000s, she starred alongside Valerie Bertinelli on “Hot In Cleveland,” which ran from 2010 until 2015. During that run, Betty White saw a new lease on life, with her career. This is when all of the guest appearances happened, and she set records for her longevity. It was becoming commonplace for White to be the “oldest actress” to accomplish various things.

With the death of Cloris Leachman, Betty White was truly the last of her generation left. The past decade has been most’s favorite Betty White decade. This span of time is when she met Jeezy and he admitted to watching “The Golden Girls” when he was younger. But, the world is without Betty White, who was preparing her 100th birthday celebration, in a little over three weeks.
