Beyoncé announces extra dates for cities in Renaissance Tour

On Wednesday, Beyoncé had the internet buzzing, after finally announcing on her website, the dates and cities for her highly anticipated Renaissance World Tour. The tour will kick off in Europe, in Stockholm, on May 10. The first show of the US leg of the tour will begin on July 17, in Philadelphia.

As expected, every concert of this Renaissance Tour went in very high demand. Beyoncé even partnered with Ticketmaster on various pre-sale registrations, in order to organize demand in an orderly fashion.

As a result of this high demand, extra dates for select cities in the US have also now been added, to the Renaissance Tour. Among the cities that will be receiving a second show are Atlanta, Washington, Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. Toronto will also receive an extra show, on July 9. This could possibly be the case for even more cities, as the Renaissance Tour nears closer.

This tour announcement comes after Beyoncé released her seventh studio album, “Renaissance,” last summer. That went on to become her seventh straight number one solo album, and was led by the Billboard Hot 100-chart topping single, “Break My Soul.”
