When Hurricane Harvey hit Houston, and left the city in peril, Beyonce was among the first celebrities to respond. Since she is a Houston native, Beyonce helping out the city was a given. Almost immediately, she donated to the city, before Kevin Hart launched his fund.
Beyonce has returned to the city of Houston, where she has revisited her church. Bringing her mother, Tina Knowles, affectionately known to the world as Mama Tina, she shared some kind words. Houston has lost a lot and they need everyone’s help.
Along with her mother, Beyonce returned to help give out food, with the other people who donated. She also took the mic to offer some kind words to the victims. Her position of success has led to many people looking to her as an inspiration, which the Houston victims need, as they recover from Harvey.
