Beyoncé announces “Act II” album coming on March 29
On Sunday night, Beyoncé appeared in a new Verizon commercial, during the Super Bowl. As a result, fans were ecstatic, due to the ad hinting that new music from her may be on the way.
Furthermore, during the Super Bowl, Beyoncé also went on to post a video on social media, where it unveiled the name of two songs, that are coming on Act II, March 29. These are titled “Texas Hold Em” and “16 Carriages,” which are both country records. The Texas Hold ‘Em single was displayed on the license plate that Bey was using, as well as in a billboard, in this video. Both of these singles are also now available on all streaming platforms.
Meanwhile, the announcement of new music from Beyoncé also comes after she ventured on her Renaissance World Tour, last year. That kicked off in May in Stockholm, Sweden, and went on to conclude in early October, in Kansas City, Mo. The tour was named after Bey’s 2022 Billboard 200 chart-topping album. As a result, the tour grossed $580 million and is the highest grossing tour by a female artist, American soloist and Black artist in history.
