Through the entirety of her career, Beyoncé has been regarded as an icon. Even during the Destiny’s Child days, it was clear she’d become a star. By the time she dropped her solo debut album, Bey was already a veteran in the game.
Beyoncé did press runs for her first two albums, but has since become more withdrawn from the masses. Much of this has helped add to the mystique of her artistry. When she does make an appearance, people appreciate it more.
Yesterday, a TRL interview Beyonce did, likely during her B’Day run, went viral. In the clip, she is showing love to the Dominicans by saying she pretends to be Dominican. She also made the light comment about wanting to be Dominican, which set Twitter off, fifteen years later.
