What came along with Beyonce’s success was the element of surprise. Typically, when albums come from the bigger artists, there is a bit of time to build up. All of this changed when Jay-Z sprang Magna Carta Holy Grail on the game, but this was topped by Beyonce.
Beyonce was recently in New York City for the screening of Directors. She gave an impromptu interview about the process of her album. The Houston singer explained that it was her and her staff that helped her keep from letting the cat out of the bag because the plan from the beginning was to surprise people.
