Beyoncé fans get overseas “Renaissance” tickets due to low prices
On February 1, Beyoncé had the internet buzzing, after officially announcing her highly anticipated “Renaissance” World Tour. The tour is first kicking off overseas, on May 10, in Stockholm, Sweden. The first North American show is being held on July 8, in Toronto. The first US date will take place on July 12, in Philadelphia.
Due to the massive demand for Beyoncé’s tour, Ticketmaster even had to organize various pre-sale methods, so there wouldn’t be much disfunction and confusion, such as when Taylor Swift announced her tour. Resale markets have also since upped prices, which many fans don’t approve of.
Due to the high ticket demand, Beyoncé has added multiple dates for many cities, as some even received three. However, despite these extra dates, prices for tickets continue to be much too high, for a lot of the BeyHive. As a result, many are planning trips for Renaissance concerts overseas, after noticing that many have lower ticket prices.
Bey’s tour comes after she released her Billboard 200 chart-topping “Renaissance” album, last summer. That was her first solo album since 2016’s “Lemonade,” and led by hits such as “Virgo’s Groove,” “Break My Soul,” “Cuff It,” and more.
