Beyoncé fans start GoFundMe accounts for tour tickets
This week, Beyoncé had social media in a frenzy, after finally announcing her highly anticipated “Renaissance” World Tour. This will kick off on May 10, in Stockholm, Sweden. Following the European leg of the tour, Beyoncé’s first US show will take place on July 17, in Philadelphia.
However, it already appears that it will be difficult to obtain tickets for this Renaissance World Tour. Beyoncé did set up various pre-sale registrations for fans, but many won’t be able to get their hands on tickets. This is mostly due to demand outweighing supply, in terms of the high cost of tickets.
As a result, many fans have resorted to launching GoFundMe accounts, in attempts to raise funds to be able to purchase these Beyoncé tickets, according to TMZ. Fans on the crowdfunding website have explained how they’re huge fans of Bey, and don’t want to miss this opportunity to be able to see her.
On Friday, Beyoncé also added seven extra dates for select cities, due to the overwhelming demand. Many anticipate that even more extra dates will be made available, as well. This includes in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and more.
