Many underestimated Jay-Z and Beyonce, when they first got together, and it was likely due to their hip hop status. But, the two defied all the odds and became one of the biggest powercouples ever. Until May of 2014, they had the ultimate Teflon image.
All of this changed, however, when Beyonce’s sister, Solange, attacked Jay-Z at the Met Gala Ball. There was a lot of speculation as to why Solange would attack Jay-Z. This incident marked the first time Jay-Z had to publicly respond to a situation.
Now, HipHopHangover is reporting Solange attacked Jay-Z because he cheated on Beyonce with porn star, Roxy Reynolds. With this, Beyonce has now reportedly filed for divorce after nearly seven years of being married to Jay-Z. Her lawyer, David Levy, released a statement in regards to the impending divorce, which Jay-Z has tried hard to prevent.

“While much of the information between Mrs. (Beyoncé) Knowles and Mr. (Shawn) Carter will remain confidential, what we can say is that the two parties do want their privacy for the sake of their family. Information about the financial details and custody details are still being ironed out, But we (Beyoncé’s defense team) are adamant about seeking what we feel is right. And we feel that vows were broken through infidelity.”
