Meanwhile, Beyonce is sitting pretty at $500 million. So this makes her number two in terms of the highest net worth Black women in entertainment.

Beyonce began her career as a member of Destiny’s Child. A native of Houston, she and the girls were managed by her father. As a result, the hard work led to them signing a major label deal. Through the duration of her career, Beyonce has been signed to the Sony labels. In 1997, Destiny’s Child made their debut. Almost instantly, Beyonce became one of the biggest names in entertainment. She’s maintained this position for the past twenty six years.
