Together, Jay-Z and Beyoncé remain the first couple of hip hop. Trail blazers, this power couple has an endless list of “firsts” under their belt. Among them, now, is Bey becoming the first black woman to wear the iconic Tiffany Diamond.
Recently, Jay-Z and Beyoncé were revealed to be partnering with the iconic store, Tiffany’s. Yesterday, their partnership officially launched, to much scrutiny. Because of the Basquiat painting in their promo, the couple received backlash.
Beyoncé has enjoyed a highly-successful career, over the past twenty-four years. After spending essentially her whole life doing music, Bey has expanded into all kinds of business. She and Jay-Z launched their partnership, with Tiffany & Co., and the Tiffany Diamond, Bey was wearing makes her the first black woman to do so, and the third woman, overall, since 1877.
