Beyonce becomes the first Black woman to reach number one on Billboard’s country music charts

Beyonce makes history reaching Billboard’s country music #1 spot

Beyonce changed the whole dynamics of music, with her “Texas Hold Em” single. This introduced her new album, Cowboy Carter, which is a country album. The project opened up a discussion about the overall Black culture, hip hop music, and country music. While people are debating, Beyonce is winning big. Cowboy Carter and the singles are occupying several number one spots on Billboard’s country charts.

Beyonce has always had a successful career, dating back to Destiny’s Child. Even then, she was selling millions of records and topping the charts. It was almost unfair when Beyonce made her debut, as she was a veteran and already highly successful. With every album, Beyonce has reached number one on the charts. Also, all of these albums have had at least one of the singles reach number one on the overall Hot 100 chart.

Beyonce now has made history again, with Cowboy Carter. The issues Lil Nas X had, five years ago, are nonexistent for Beyonce. When he went through his issues, the country musicians stepped up on his behalf. Now, the door has been opened for Beyonce to reach the top spot. Her Cowboy Carter album is the number one country album in the nation. Also, her singles from the album have occupied the number one spot.
