Next week, Beyoncé is set to release her new country album, “Cowboy Carter.” This project was initially announced last month, after releasing her Verizon Super Bowl commercial. Moreover, that was the same night that she put out two singles from the album, “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em.”

Meanwhile, Texas Hold ‘Em has just reached another major milestone. According to Chart Data, it has sold over 1 million units. Therefore, it is now at platinum eligibility in the US. Furthermore, this also comes after it reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, last week.

This latest milestone also comes after Beyoncé confirmed Cowboy Carter’s album title, almost two weeks ago. Last week, the cover art went on to be unveiled, as Beyoncé is seen posing on a horse, as well as sporting colors of the United States’ flag.

Beyoncé has been very consistent with her music releases since 2022, as she also put out her “Renaissance” album, in ’22. That went on to debut atop the Billboard 200 chart, as Bey also ventured on her Renaissance World Tour, in the summer and fall of last year.
