Arguably, Beyonce is well on her way to becoming the greatest performer of this generation. She has already begun the transition from being a superstar to an icon and this is cemented with Blue Ivy Carter becoming a star in her show. In some ways, this relationship is comparable to Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina.
At this past Grammy’s ceremony, Beyonce and Jay-Z had a powerful performance of their “Drunk In Love” hit. As any perfectionist will attest to, greatness takes time, patience, and plenty of practice. Beyonce got this in while her daughter looked on, causing one of the cutest moments of the year.
While Beyonce practiced “Drunk In Love,” Blue Ivy watched on and she uttered “surfboard,” as her mother did. Upon hearing her little girl, who recently turned two, Beyonce said hi to her. Blue Ivy reacted immediately, saying “hi mommy” and the look on Beyonce’s face was as if her heart melted.
