Beyonce has been the most influential woman in the industry for a while, now. Some time ago, Bey said it herself. On DJ Khaled’s song, “Top Off,” she proclaimed that she’s always top two and she’s never number two. That was her eloquent way of saying she’s number one and she’s been that way. Simply the rollout of the Renaissance project shows this. All of the stars were on the London red carpet for the film premiere. None of them owned it like Beyonce, as all she did was turn around and let them see the back.
Beyonce originally rose to fame as Destiny’s Child lead singer. Following the release of their 2004 album, the group disbanded. When they returned with that album, they made it clear it was going to be their final release. However, every few years, fans start rumors of a new album. Destiny’s Child has reunited for performances, though. Also, the entire Destiny’s Child, including LeToya and Latavia showed up for the Renaissance roll out.
Beyonce is a lot of positive things all wrapped up into one. Even before she went solo, she was one of the biggest figures in the industry. As a result, when her debut single dropped, she immediately went to the top of Billboard Hot 100. The influence she’s had transcends genres and generations. With Renaissance, she’s won music, television, and film awards. When she was on the red carpet, she outshined everyone, taking the attention she already had, just letting people glance at her rear.
