Over a week ago, Beyoncé released her highly anticipated country album, “Cowboy Carter.” 27 new songs were released, which were led by the singles “16 Carriages,” as well as the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping “Texas Hold ‘Em.” Moreover, Bey also collaborated with Post Malone, Miley Cyrus, Willie Nelson, and more.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter has officially debuted at number one in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. This was done as a result of selling 418,000 units in its first week, per Chart Data. Furthermore, Cowboy Carter also marks Beyoncé’s eighth straight number one solo studio album. Every solo studio album of her career has reached this milestone. Bey also becomes the first female artist in history to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 with each of her first eight solo studio albums.

In addition to debuting atop the Billboard 200, Cowboy Carter also has the biggest number one debut on the chart, out of any album released in 2024. No other album across all. genres have come close to that 418,000 mark.

Furthermore, Beyoncé fans also hope for another tour from her, in celebration of the Cowboy Carter album. This comes after she ventured on her Renaissance World Tour from May-October 2023. That was in promotion of her Billboard 200 chart-topping “Renaissance” album, which was released in the summer of 2022.
