Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” surpasses 1 billion Spotify streams

Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” reaches 1 billion Spotify streams

In July, Beyoncé released her highly anticipated seventh studio album, “Renaissance.” This came one month after announcing this project, and releasing the lead single, “Break My Soul.” That record experimented dance and EDM sounds, as fans loved what Beyoncé delivered.

Renaissance went on to contain 16 songs, and became Beyoncé’s seventh straight number one solo album. “Alien Superstar,” “Cuff It,” and “Church Girl” all went on to become fan-favorite records off of the album, as well.

Renaissance has now achieved another major streaming milestone. According to Chart Data, it has officially surpassed 1 billion streams, on Spotify. This remains one of the biggest streaming platforms, as Beyoncé is also one of the most streamed artists overall, there.

However, fans are still waiting for Beyoncé to finally release videos, to some of the songs from Renaissance. Her Parkwood Entertainment record label has since been recently teasing these visuals, but there are still no official release dates, as of now.

Beyoncé also recently revealed plans for her to venture on a Renaissance world tour, in the summer of 2023. Flight and ticket packages are being made available, with some costing as high as $20,000. This was revealed last month, at the Wearable Art Gala, in Santa Monica.
