Big Boi explains not voting for President Obama with the Huffington Post [VIDEO]

Too often, the world tends to judge a book by its cover. When it comes to politics, or at least the past few years, most tend to associate the urban audience with President Obama. On the contrary, most Democratic candidates tend to win an overwhelming number of urban voters, with hip hop usually coming in strong.

In Georgia, many Democrats hoped the Atlanta rappers could help flip the state. Instead, only Atlanta showed up for the president. Following Obama’s victory over Mitt Romney, many Republican supporters began speaking out. Meanwhile, hip hop celebrated “2 termz” of Barack Obama.

After the election, Big Boi found himself congratulated over his candidate winning the election. The only problem was that his candidate lost, handily. Big Boi explained to the Huffington Post that he is a Libertarian and supported Gary Johnson. Responding to the woman, a Republican, Big Boi stated he also lost in 2012.
