Big Boi talks Andre 3000’s verse on T.I.’s “Sorry” with Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg [VIDEO]

In 2003, there were rumors of Outkast breaking up. Among the rumors about the two was Big Boi saying if it was not for the group, he would not be friends with Andre 3000. Taking a break from each other, Outkast released a double album, one album with Big Boi and the other one with Andre 3000.

Big Boi would eventually follow-up with his official solo debut in 2010. Def Jam picked up Big Boi and he received critical acclaim. There have been rumblings of a solo album from Andre 3000. While no album has come, Andre 3000 is making his rounds, appearing on T.I.’s “Sorry” off Trouble Man.

Hearing the song, Big Boi spoke on it on Hot 97’s Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg. In his interview with Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg, Big Boi mentioned a part of the song where Andre 3000 offered an apology. There were rumors of an apparent feud between the two, which may have been true to a certain extent.
