The efforts of Big Boi and Andre 3000 helped Southern artists make themselves known. These two proved Atlanta is the most-fertile city in hip hop outside of New York City. As talented as Outkast is, the group hasn’t worked together since 2006.
Big Boi launched a solo career, where he has his third album out. His newest album is called Boomiverse and it is being met with positive reviews, so far. Unfortunately, Big Boi’s album promo coincides with the unfortunate death of Mobb Deep’s Prodigy.
Sway welcomed Big Boi to the nation, “Sway In The Morning.” The two would discuss Big Boi making his first million before he even turned 21. He’d also speak on meeting Mobb Deep, before speaking on Boomiverse, his new album.
