No longer is Big Boi only associated with Outkast. While Outkast will always be a key component of Big Boi’s artistry, he is now established as a major solo artist. Def Jam has enjoyed the results of Big Boi’s solo career. In two weeks, Big Boi will release his second album, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors.
Coming two years after Big Boi’s debut, Sir Luscious Left Foot, Vicious Lies picks up where his debut left off. So far, Big Boi has unveiled several tracks and is boasting collaborations with Ludacris, Kelly Rowland, A$AP Rocky, Kid Cudi, T.I., and others. There is more to be revealed in the next two weeks.
Big Boi recently spoke with The Combat Jack Show about his upcoming work. The Atlanta rapper has held several interviews about his new album. However, the people with Combat Jack boast this is his best interview yet. Working hard on the new music, Big Boi offered up some gems.
