Vette first amassed a fan base, when she made a cover of Dej Loaf’s “Try Me.” Four years later, Big Boss Vette released her first single. However, it was her “Bad B” single that put her on the map. Forever a hustler, she turned this into a record deal with Republic Records. After that, she got a hit in “Pretty Girls Walk.” Now, Coi Leray is on the remix.
Big Boss Vette is a true force in the game. Furthermore, she continues the trend of women dominating the rap game. It went from no major female rappers releasing albums in 2010 to a majority of female rappers releasing projects by 2022. There are many women dominating the game.
