Before taking the job as a radio host for Power 106 in Los Angeles, Big Boy worked as a security job. But, his work with Power 106 as a media personality has made Big Boy into a well-known figure in urban entertainment. He once had a recurring role on “The Proud Family.”
Power 106 is the longtime top radio station in Los Angeles, but the station’s primary personality apparently wants out. Big Boy’s contract is soon coming to an end and he intends to join iHeart Media. However, there is a clause in his Power 106 contract against this.
Set to earn $1.5 million with Power 106, Big Boy intends to leave for iHeart Media where he will earn $3.5 million and have access to the company jet. But, Power 106, according to their contract they can match any competing offer. While Power 106 intends to do this, Big Boy still has plans of leaving the station, thus prompting the suit.
