Many feel as if Big Daddy Kane inspired both The Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-Z. All three rappers are from Brooklyn and they carried this in their rhymes. Due to the success Jay-Z experienced, many call him the modern-day Big Daddy Kane, in terms of their overall style.
Where Jay-Z went full-fledged into business, Big Daddy Kane has reverted into more of a commentator on the hip hop culture. A great deal of fans are hoping Big Daddy Kane will be among the legendary rappers to make a comeback. While there is a lot in hip hop to be excited about, there are still some major disappointments.
Recently, Big Daddy Kane was in Chicago and he talked to “Everywhere You Go Chicago” and explained his take on things. Molly is the current trend in hip hop, but drugs are nothing new to hip hop. Big Daddy Kane talked about both Molly and how an artist gains longevity in the game.
