Last month, there were many mixtape releases to pay attention to. One that stuck out was Big K.R.I.T.’s King Remembered in Time. An overall play on Big K.R.I.T.’s name, the project received critical acclaim. Putting Mississippi hip hop back on the map, K.R.I.T. has the undivided attention of the rap game.
King Remembered in Time featured appearances from Big K.R.I.T.’s expected collaborators, such as Smoke DZA, Big Sant, and Wiz Khalifa. But, Big K.R.I.T. also surprised fans with a Trinidad James feature on the mixtape. Considered by most as the unofficial sophomore album from Big K.R.I.T., the mixtape is a fan favorite.
FUSE TV recently sat down with Big K.R.I.T. for their segment, “The Mixdown.” During this segment, Big K.R.I.T. broke down the lyrics on his new mixtape. King Remembered in Time was regarded as a classic and Big K.R.I.T. explained all that went into his newest release.
