Big Meech to reportedly be released from prison in 2025

Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory is reportedly set to be released from prison in 2025, as he’s been incarcerated for over 17 years. That sentence came as a result of charges of weapons and drug trafficking charges. Meech became one of the biggest drug dealers in the 1990s and 2000s, as the Detroit native also brought his operations to Atlanta. As a result, $270 million was accumulated, with his Black Mafia Family drug organization.

Meech’s early 2025 release comes as a judge shortened his sentence by 32 months, per Baller Alert. His initial sentence was for 30 years, and a May 5, 2028 release date. Meech is led by his attorney Brittany K. Barnett of the Buried Alive Project.

Furthermore, Meech’s reduction in his sentence comes as he’s been helping others in prison. This includes holding various seminars, as well as creating his Build More Families campaign.

Meech story has been also told in the hit series “BMF” on Stars, since 2021. 50 Cent has served as the executive producer of the series, as Meech’s son plays the role of him. Season 3 of BMF premieres on Friday at midnight. Moreover, it was revealed on Friday, that a fourth season has also been renewed at Starz. Meech’s son has also since confirmed on his Instagram stories, the reports of his father’s 2025 early release.
