Fans have been waiting on new music from Big Sean for a while now, as his last studio album came back in the fall of 2020. At the time, he put out his “Detroit 2” album. That project contained 24 songs, including collaborations with Nipsey Hussle, Post Malone, Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, and more. Furthermore, the album also featured narrations from Dave Chappelle, Erykah Badu, and others. As a result, Detroit 2 went on to see a number one debut in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart.
Meanwhile, Big Sean has just shared on social media, that he plans to finally release a new studio album, sometime this year. Sean replied to an Instagram post by Elliott Wilson, where Sean’s verse on Bryson Tiller’s new “Get Dis Money” song, from his latest “Slum Tiller Vol. 3” EP. Sean went on to say “Nah it’s time for a new album this year fasho.” Therefore, fans quickly began to be ecstatic about this news.
Moreover, this also comes after Big Sean and Jhené Aiko welcomed their first child, in early 2023. He and Aiko began dating again several years ago, after previously splitting in 2016. Sean’s previous high-profile relationship was with Ariana Grande, in 2015.
