Several emcees have emerged from Detroit since Eminem. None of these rappers have had the level of success of Big Sean. Recently, Big Sean has been in the headlines more than usual, as he makes his moves in the media. Earlier today, Big Sean was revealed by popular brand, Adidas, that he would be headlining a Los Angeles party for them.
Big Sean has followed the guidance of Kanye West, who followed the guidance of Jay-Z in how to brand himself as an artist. Few rappers were handling business moves before the emergence of Jay-Z. Now, Big Sean continues the trend with his Aura Gold clothing line, which is the first of many business ventures from him.
Recently, Big Sean caught up with Karmaloop TV in Las Vegas. Carissa Rossi talked to the popular rapper on behalf of Karmaloop TV’s “That Life” web series. During the interview, Big Sean spoke on his new clothing line, the Hall of Fame album, Cruel Winter, and much more.
