Once he was able to finally release his debut album, Finally Famous: The Album, Big Sean immediately became one of the biggest rappers in the game. Showing a different side of Detroit, Big Sean solidified the record of Kanye West as a record executive. Big Sean was instantly a hitmaker, working with Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown, along with many other big names.

During the summer of 2011, only months after Finally Famous was released, Big Sean announced he was working on his sophomore album. In 2012, Big Sean has picked up where he left off, collaborating with Tyga to start the year off. Since then, Big Sean has collaborated with Kevin McCall and, of course, is playing a prominent role on Cruel Summer.

Big Sean has been all over the place, but the mentions of his new album have dwindled. However, during his interview with Bootleg Kev, the album was directly discussed. During the interview, Big Sean revealed the new album would be released in the fourth quarter of 2012. Next month, the fourth quarter of the year begins.
