Birdman and Master P announce Cash Money and No Limit Tour with Boosie as special guest
Two of hip-hop’s most influential record labels are finally joining forces for what could become one of the biggest rap tours of 2026.
Cash Money Records and No Limit Records have officially announced a 17-city arena tour that will bring together legendary artists from both camps for a celebration of New Orleans hip-hop and Southern rap culture. The tour features Cash Money stars Birdman, Juvenile, Mannie Fresh, and B.G. alongside No Limit heavyweights Master P, Silkk The Shocker, Mia X, Mac, Fiend, Choppa Style, and Mr. Serv-On. Louisiana rap favorite Boosie will also appear as a special guest.
The highly anticipated run begins on September 11 at Houston’s Toyota Center before making stops in New Orleans, Atlanta, Raleigh, Detroit, Indianapolis, Birmingham, Dallas, Washington, D.C., Columbia, St. Louis, Memphis, Sunrise, Tampa, Chicago, Cincinnati, and Cleveland.
For fans who grew up during the golden era of Southern rap, the tour represents more than just another concert series. It is a celebration of two record labels that changed the sound and business of hip-hop forever.
A Historic Moment for Southern Hip-Hop
“The fans have been waiting for a tour like this for a long time,” Master P said in a statement announcing the tour. “We came from New Orleans and built something the world had never seen before — movements that changed music, hip hop culture, and the business forever.”
It’s hard to argue with that assessment. During the late 1990s and early 2000s, No Limit and Cash Money became two of the most successful independent labels in music history. They turned New Orleans into one of the industry’s most important rap cities and proved that artists from the South could dominate the mainstream.
Before Cash Money and No Limit exploded nationally, much of the music industry’s attention was focused on the East Coast and West Coast. The two labels helped shift that narrative and opened doors for future generations of Southern stars.
Their influence can still be heard today in the music of countless artists who have borrowed elements from their sounds, marketing strategies, and entrepreneurial approaches.
The Legacy of No Limit Records
Master P built No Limit Records into a cultural empire through relentless hustle and smart business moves. The label became known for its signature album covers, military-themed branding, and a roster filled with charismatic artists.
No Limit released a string of successful albums from artists such as Silkk The Shocker, Mia X, Fiend, and Mr. Serv-On. The label’s dominance helped make Master P one of the first rappers to become a major business mogul.
At its peak, No Limit sold millions of albums and expanded beyond music into film, merchandise, and sports management. The label showed that independent artists could create their own paths without relying entirely on major labels.
The influence of No Limit can still be seen in today’s era of artist-owned brands and independent ventures.
Cash Money’s Rise to Global Success
Cash Money Records followed a similar blueprint but eventually grew into one of the most successful labels in hip-hop history.
Founded by Birdman and Ronald “Slim” Williams, the label introduced the world to stars such as Juvenile, B.G., and later Lil Wayne. The success of albums like 400 Degreez and Chopper City in the Ghetto helped establish Cash Money as a dominant force.
Producer Mannie Fresh also played a major role in the label’s rise. His distinctive production style created a sound that became synonymous with New Orleans rap.
Cash Money eventually evolved into a global powerhouse that launched the careers of artists who would become some of the biggest names in music. The label’s success story inspired countless independent musicians and entrepreneurs.
The Tour Follows a Memorable Verzuz Battle
The announcement arrives several months after the highly celebrated Cash Money versus No Limit Verzuz battle in November 2025.
That event brought together members of both camps and reminded fans of the incredible catalogs that each label possesses. Social media exploded with nostalgia as fans revisited classic songs and iconic moments from both empires.
The positive response to the Verzuz battle likely showed there was still tremendous demand for a larger reunion.
Now, that reunion is becoming reality.
The upcoming arena tour will allow fans to hear decades of hits performed live by many of the artists who helped define an era of rap music.
What Fans Can Expect
Although the full set lists have not been revealed, fans can expect a night packed with classics from both catalogs.
Juvenile’s “Back That Azz Up,” B.G.’s “Bling Bling,” and numerous anthems from the Cash Money era are likely to energize crowds. No Limit fans can also expect to hear many of the label’s biggest records and fan favorites.
The inclusion of Boosie as a special guest adds another layer of excitement. The Baton Rouge rapper has remained one of the South’s most beloved performers and continues to draw enthusiastic crowds.
The tour also provides an opportunity for younger fans to experience the music live for the first time. Many of these songs have found new audiences through social media platforms and streaming services.
A Celebration of New Orleans Culture
At its core, the Cash Money and No Limit tour is a celebration of New Orleans.
Both labels helped put the city on the map and showed the world that some of hip-hop’s most innovative artists were coming from Louisiana. Their success changed perceptions about Southern rap and created opportunities for countless artists who followed.
The influence of these labels extends far beyond album sales and chart success. They inspired generations of musicians to take control of their businesses and think bigger than music alone.
That legacy is one reason why this reunion tour feels so significant.
Fans have spent years hoping to see these legendary artists share the stage. Now, they finally have the chance.
Tickets will be available through a presale beginning on June 17 at 10 a.m. CST and ending on June 18 at 11:59 p.m. CST. General public sales begin on June 19 at 10 a.m. CST through BMN Shows.
For hip-hop fans, the message is clear: one of rap’s most historic reunions is officially on the calendar, and the sounds of New Orleans are getting ready to take over arenas across America once again.
