When thinking of Birdman, most people think of a self-made man. He is the head of Cash Money Records and he said he named the label that, because they always demanded cash money. In 1997, they scored their deal with Universal, taking their $100 million in cash.
Birdman, ironically, has gotten into trouble with his artists, over the years, accused of not paying them. This is what led to Lil Wayne going on an abrupt hiatus, lasting from 2014-2018, ending last week. With that over with, Drake and Nicki Minaj likely left Cash Money.
But, Birdman is still a hood billionaire, so he’s still doing rich gang type things. The New Orleans native recently met up with one of his longtime friends. Proving himself to be a real friend, Birdman actually gave this man $200,000 in cash.
