Birdman once spoke on his history with No Limit Records, downplaying the beef. However, he did admit that he and Master P didn’t get along with each other. In addition, members of both Cash Money and No Limit have said both Birdman and P refused to let them collaborate. But they said some of the members of each camp were close and hung out, sometimes. Overall, there was a competition between the two labels. In a recent interview, P revealed he talked to Birdman. Now, Birdman is hanging with No Limit.

Birdman and Master P are both from New Orleans. Both rapper-executives worked to put the city’s hip hop scene on the map. When P’s movement, No Limit, fell off, Birdman’s Cash Money movement took over. Often, Master P has commended Birdman for his efforts with Cash Money. He always credited their continued success in music. Meanwhile, P moved into products. However, in 2020, Master P shouted Birdman out at the BET Awards.

Birdman often says things like “it’s all love” and now he’s proving it. For longtime hip hop fans, this is shocking, however. But, for the sake of growing up and maturity, this had to happen. During Grammy weekend, Birdman linked up with the old No Limit roster. After all, these people all grew up in the same city, likely knowing each other before the fame. Now, they have made it clear that all of their issues are firmly in the past.
