It seems as if once this ordeal is over, there will not be many people calling Drake “soft.” What was once thought to be a subject of the past has emerged as the centerpiece of hip hop’s latest feud. Chris Brown’s high-profile relationship with songstress, Rihanna, came to a violent end in 2009 and she began a very brief fling with Drake.
The relationship between Drake and Rihanna was short-lived, but the two have united for several hit singles. Recently, Chris Brown began working with Rihanna again, with rumors of the two getting back together. Previously, Chris Brown and Drake spoke on being involved with Rihanna. Many felt as if the issue was resolved, as they have also worked together.
This was not the case, as Drake and Chris Brown have fought and there are rumors of Brown’s legal team has filed a suit against Drake for endangerment. Cash Money Records CEO, Birdman, recently broke his silence on the situation. With several personalities in hip hop discussing the situation, Birdman spoke with MTV News on how he felt. Coming as a surprise to none, Birdman is siding with Drake, saying he did nothing wrong and has his back.
