Birdman Hot 97Last week, Birdman cemented himself as a joke in the industry after he visited “The Breakfast Club” to go off on Charlamagne Tha God. A lot of memes of “Put Some Respek On My Name” have taken over the internet. It even made Birdman, himself, join in on the joke.

While “The Breakfast Club” interview didn’t happen, Birdman did talk to Angie Martinez, again. This morning, Birdman also talked to Hot 97 personalities, Ebro and Laura Stylez. Here, Birdman came to officially set the record straight.

In the interview, Birdman talked Cash Money Records success and the tension with Lil Wayne. Explaining Charlamagne, Birdman said he felt he was being disrespected by him even after the work he’s done with Nicki Minaj, Drake, and all the other, as he filled the void following the likes of Jay Z retiring. Birdman explained his business practices and how they don’t differ from other companies, but saying it’s different with a personality, and he advocated for more CEOs in the game with less rappers.
