Biz Markie Has Reportedly NOT Passed Away, as Sources Close To Roland Martin Claim That Markie’s Wife Denied This Rumor

Close to midnight on the east coast, reports surfaced that hip-hop legend, Biz Markie, had passed away at the age of 57. Markie is known for the classic 1988 hit single, “Just a Friend.” There are now conflicting reports, as Roland Martin is now coming out and saying that Markie is not dead.

On Twitter, Martin said that he has been in contact with sources who are texting Markie’s wife. This source supposedly spoke with Markie on Wednesday, and his wife is also confirming that his death is not true at all, according to Martin.

Martin went on to say that these reports about Markie’s death are from “non-credible sources.” Hopefully, Markie’s health is fine right now, and is alive and well.

Markie has had health issues over the years, which prompted the talks about his death on Wednesday night. Hopefully, none of the claims coming out about his health are true at all. Check out Roland Martin denying the Biz Markie death rumors below.
