Biz Markie’s wife speaks on his death, says he fought until the end

Another hip hop legend is gone, with Biz Markie being among the 2021 deaths. This man opened the door for the current mainstream hip hop. The “Just A Friend” rapper died, last night, following complications from diabetes.

At the end of last month, there were reports of Biz Markie’s passing. Thankfully, those reports were not true, but the actual story was still grim. While the rapper was still alive, he was fighting hard, against diabetes.

Yesterday, Biz Markie died, and those reports were accurate, as social media paid their respects. Following this, Markie’s wife spoke out. Posting to Instagram, she let it be known that Biz fought until the very end, in his battle with diabetes.
