What might be strange love to some, is the real thing for Miracle and Charles Pogue. On the face of it, the Mississippi couple are polar opposites. However, it is also said that opposites attract. In this case, these two were actually kindred spirits. None of this means their relationship has not been without controversy. After all, Charles is actually over a decade older than Miracle’s grandfather. Despite this, the two have gotten married.
Miracle Pogue is only 24-years-old, so she has faced a lot of scrutiny. Much of it has come from right within her own family. While Miracle’s mother and grandfather approved of her being with Charles, Miracle’s father had reservations. Again, despite her father initially being against the relationship, Miracle fell in love with Charles. When she spoke on it, Miracle made it clear it was Charles’ confidence that attracted her to him.
Miracle Pogue said Charles would come into the restaurant where she worked. He would only allow Miracle to serve him, which is how they got to know each other. Miracle says one day he told her to write her number down and they began dating. She knew about their differences, but said he was good conversation and made her feel comfortable. When she learned of his age, Miracle said she already had fallen in love with him.
