Blake and Drummond, Drummond and Blake: NBA Twitter reacts to LA to Detroit Clippers/Pistons trade, Tobias, Doc Rivers, Reggie Jackson, and Detroit’s Twin Towers

It’s officially the end of an era, with the LA Clippers, and it was fun, while it lasted. Back in 2009, the Clippers became relevant, for the first time in franchise history, when Blake Griffin was drafted. In 2011, the team actually became a threat, for the first time.

The Clippers’ Chris Paul trade made an immediate duo with Griffin, and the team became a 50-win team, playoff contender. Then, the joke began, about the team being unable to win past the second round. In 2017, the Clippers lost in the first round, so Chris Paul was traded.

Blake Griffin was the center of a mega-trade, between the Clippers, and the Detroit Pistons. This deal, somehow puts Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond on the same team. However, Reggie Jackson and Tobias Harris are now Clippers, making an entirely different team, and Twitter is trying to sort this all out.
