Blake Griffin shows off improved jumpshot in 24 point game vs Raptors in 104-98 Clippers win #NBAPreseason [VIDEO]

In 2009, Blake Griffin was the most-coveted player headed into the NBA, being drafted by the LA Clippers. Forever in the shadow of the other team in LA, the Clippers only produced three playoff appearances before Griffin. Things changed once he and Chris Paul joined the team.

Since 2012, the Los Angeles Clippers have consistently been one of the best teams in the NBA. First, Blake Griffin brought the Clippers star power and Chris Paul brought a winning, veteran, presence. Sadly, they have yet to get past the second round of the playoffs, though.

Last year, injuries stopped the Clippers from getting past the first round and they opened the preseason to a rough loss to the Golden State Warriors. But, Doc Rivers has said he expects the Clippers to compete with Golden State, this year. To his credit, when the Clippers played the Raptors, Blake Griffin showed off his new jumper, scoring 24 points in a 104-98 win.
