Bobby Shmurda announces that his debut album, “They Don’t Know,” is coming on April 29

Bobby Shmurda announces “They Don’t Know” album

Last February, Bobby Shmurda was finally released from prison, after serving a six-year sentence. It took the Brooklyn rapper a while to finally put out new music after his release, but he finally got things going in the fall. Bobby put out songs such as “Splash,” “Shmoney,” featuring Quavo and Rowdy Rebel, “Cartier Lens,” and “No Time For Sleep Freestyle.” Bobby’s last release came in December, with Shmoney.

Now, Bobby’s debut studio album is finally on the way. He recently announced that this project is titled “They Don’t Know,” and will be out on April 29. The album will be Bobby’s first project as an independent artist as well, after recently leaving Epic Rrcords. He had been with them since 2014, when his breakout “Hot N*gga” single blew up.

Bobby’s last project came back in 2014 as well, with his “Shmurda She Wrote” EP. It contained five tracks, and was led by the Hot N*gga single. That record went on to peak at number six on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and was certified platinum last year. “Bobby B*tch” was another hot single from Shmurda She Wrote, as that went platinum last year, as well. The EP as a whole also went gold, in 2021.
