Bobby Shmurda Hits The Studio as Fans Still Wait For New Music From Him After Prison Release in February

Almost two months ago, Bobby Shmurda was finally released from prison after almost seven years. He’s been enjoying his life a lot since then as he’s been booked for NBA All-Star celebrations at nightclubs in Atlanta and has also visited his home team, Brooklyn Nets.

Bobby has yet to release new music though as fans wonder when that will finally come. Many expected that he’d at least put out a “First Day Out” record as soon as he got out of prison but that was not the case. Now, some good news is on the way in regards to new music.

Bobby took to Instagram on Monday night to share photos of himself at a recording studio while laying down some new tracks. A week ago, he also took to his Instagram stories to say that he would release some music soon. Hopefully, at least a new single will be arriving very soon. Bobby’s long-awaited debut studio could finally be heard in 2021 as well.

A few days after his prison release, Bobby also received more certifications from the RIAA. This included his 2014 breakout hit single, “Hot N*gga,” going 5x platinum, his “Bobby B*tch” single going platinum, and his “Shmurda She Wrote” EP going gold.
