Bobby Shmurda was finally released from prison, in late May, after almost serving a 7-year sentence. The Brooklyn rapper. hadn’t released any new music at all, for months, though. In early September, Bobby finally put put his 6:25-minute long “No Time To Sleep Freestyle.”
At the same time, Bobby had previewed new music for months. Now, it looks like Bobby is finally in album mode. He recently posted a video to his Instagram stories, where he hinted at his debut studio album coming soon.
Bobby and his friends were dancing in a studio, as his caption was “When yu almost done mixing the album.” No album title or release date was mentioned by him here, but that could very well change, in the upcoming weeks.
The last time Bobby put out a project, was in 2014, before his incarceration. That was his “Shmurda She Wrote” EP, which went gold this year, and contained the breakout hit singles “Hot N*gga” and “Bobby B*tch.”
