Boosie claims he turned down $250000 to perform at LGBTQ event

Boosie gained a lot of attention, when Lil Nas X made major noise in 2021. First, Boosie had choice words for Dwyane Wade over his trans child, Zaya. Later that year, Lil Nas X began his album rollout, and embraced his homosexuality. As a result, Boosie spent the whole 2021 responding to the things that Nas X said and did. Because of this, people labeled Boosie homophobic. Two years later, he’s saying he turned down a quarter of a million dollars to perform at an LGBTQ event.

Boosie initially rose to fame in 2006, behind the success of his song, “Zoom.” However, he officially rose to fame a year later. In 2007, he and Webbie appeared on Foxx’s “Wipe Me Down.” The trio did the remix for “Wipe Me Down” and the song became a summer anthem. Because Boosie had the standout verse, most people think that’s actually his song. After that, Boosie had another song-stealing guest appearance on Webbie’s “Independent.” Both songs are his biggest singles.

Boosie went to prison in 2009 and the five years that his fans held him down showed that he has a dedicated fan base. In 2014, Boosie was released from prison, and he has done nothing but perform at sold out shows. As a result, he is making an incredible amount of money. According to Boosie, he is commanding $250,000 just for one show. However, he said he ended up turning down a $250,000 offer for a LGBTQ event, saying he doesn’t believe in that kind of thing.
