Boosie says nobody cared when Mo’Nique talked Black actress pay
Boosie watched, as Taraji P. Henson cried about Black actresses not being fairly compensated. Over the past few years, he’s transformed as one of the culture’s leading commentators. As a result, Boosie has an opinion on everything. According to his statements, he’s getting well paid to offer his opinion. However, he gave this one up for free. Responding to Taraji, Boosie said he wants to know why people either ignored or laughed at Mo’Nique, when she brought up the same topic, six years ago.
Boosie has become one of the biggest names in entertainment, just from the internet. He managed to become more popular now than when he solely relied on releasing music. All of this is due to him just sharing his personality on the internet. For most people, losing their Instagram account would spell the end of their brand. But, when it comes to Boosie, this has actually helped to propel his brand to even bigger heights.
Boosie became the latest person to speak on Taraji P. Henson’s frustrations. During Taraji’s interview with Gayle King, she broke down crying. She was upset, because Black actresses are getting paid significantly less than their male and White counterparts. While Boosie is sympathetic to the struggle, he asked why people didn’t support Mo’Nique when she brought this up. In addition, Boosie said there’s strength in numbers.
