Popular blog, Bossip, has now issued an apology after they posted an article about Lizzo getting dragged by people on social media, for winning a Soul Train Award over Ari Lennox. Many fans weren’t pleased with Bossip calling Lizzo a “Kidz Bop Kween” in the title of the article.
In the apology, Bossip, tweeted:
“We at Bossip are known for pushing the envelope with our headlines while trying to entertain and inform. We don’t always get it right and definitely didn’t get it right with our Lizzo headline.
We apologize to @lizzo and everyone we offended. We support her work and will do better.”
The title has since been changed. I have seen a million different Bossip titles that were worse. I have never seen Bossip apologize about any of those titles. Lizzo must have some pull in the industry. Thoughts?
