The Boston Celtics finally completed their search for a head coach, today. They ultimately decided on Ime Udoka, who was an assistant coach, for the Brooklyn Nets. Last weekend, the Nets lost to the Milwaukee Bucks, in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
Udoka is also married to Nia Long, one of the most popular actresses of all-time. Following the news of Udoka’s hiring, fans took to Twitter to express their excitement of potentially seeing Long at plenty of games in Boston.
The Celtics finished the season at seventh in the Eastern Conference, with a 36-36 record. They defeated the Wizards in the play-in game, but fell to the Nets in six games in the first round of the playoffs.
