Most children love the idea of getting out of school early. Almost everybody is guilty of calling out of school sick, when they weren’t, at least once. In Florida, an eleven year old boy took that concept to new extremes. Because he didn’t want to go to school, the child went as far as reporting a fake school shooting. All he wanted was to go home early. Instead, he got arrested.

Children do things all of the time, without thinking of the consequences. As a result, most children are fearless, but this is due to ignorance. Over time, they learn the dangers of certain actions, and they learn about those consequences. This little boy has learned several lessons at once about how to handle certain situations.

In Marion County, Florida, an eleven year old boy wound up getting arrested. Currently, the boy is facing charges of false report of a mass shooting, utilizing a two-way communication device to commit a felony, disruption of a school function, and misuse of 911. The boy reported a false school shooting, because he wanted to leave from school early. As a result, he’s now facing serious charges.
